Two Functions That Allow You to Search According to
The “Show Selected Items” Function
Now by choosing the Show Selected Items function you have the ability to save the headings you selected as positions that could be right for you, in searches with a multiple choice display.
The purpose of using the Show Selected Items function is to save you the trouble of again having to go over the headings you marked the last time you searched the job listings, thereby streamlining the process of searching according to fields or keywords.
Stage A – Initial Search to Mark Suitable Headings
Search according to fields or keywords, select Listed Display and mark Multiple Choice.
Then mark the headings that describe suitable positions and click on
The following example simulates a search according to field by selecting Information Security and marking suitable headings in the listed display (Multiple Choice).
Stage B – Additional Search Marking “Show Selected Items” Function
Search according to fields or keywords, select Listed Display and mark Multiple Choice as well as Show Selected Items.
Continuing the above example, now the boxes you marked in your previous search will be saved for you. The following image illustrates this:
Tip: As mentioned above, choosing the Show Selected Items function saves you from having to mark the headings you already marked last time, but you should still look over the headings that were not marked in order to see whether since your last visit new headings have been added that could be of interest to you.
