About us:Edgify is developing the future of AI. Going up against the cloud providers to offer a new way of training ML and DL models directly on day to day devices. We built a framework that allows any company, from any industry, to train complete Deep Learning and Machine Learning models directly on their own edge devices- we allow for close to perfect accuracy, without the need to transfer any data to the cloud. We are looking for a Controller to undertake most aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, payments, and ongoing day-to-day responsibilities, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
You will work closely with the Company’s Director of Finance & Strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annually consolidated financial reports and statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow etc.) for presentation to the Company's management/ board of directors.
Analyze (and monitor) actual and budget expenses on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Monitor expenses and enforce the Company’s policies and controllership.
Develop, document, and enforce compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Manage external service providers.
Oversee the payroll process.
Assisting in strategic research & planning.

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:
CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm.
An experience of 1-3 years max in a similar position (Assistant Controller/ Controller/ FP&A Analyst) in a High-Tech company\startup.
Excellent Excel skills with the ability to build and manage complex financial models.
Excellent Hebrew & English (spoken & written).
Experience working with ERP systems. Priority -an advantage.
Experience in preparing financial statements according to IFRS and familiarity with the Israeli statutory requirements.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
A quick learner, with a high level of analytical capabilities and business understanding.
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized, detail-oriented, and mindful of deadlines.
Independent, organized and dependable.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge in US GAAP.
Familiarity with the UK statutory requirements.
Experience in leading and implementing budget and forecasting cycles.
Knowledge and experience with tax compliance and statutory reporting.

Edgify is a revolutionary VC-backed startup, based in the Bursa area in Ramat Gan, aiming to change the way Deep Learning models are trained. We have developed a framework that allows training models on edge devices, where the data is generated, in a collaborative fashion, creating one robust model that was trained on all the data distributed between the devices, without the data actually leaving the edge. Our technology allows accessing data previously unavailable for privacy reasons and reducing data transfer and computation costs by leveraging the edge devices computation power. Our clients come from a variety of industries: Retail, medicine, manufacturing, connected cars etc. Job Description Our algorithm team deals with a variety of challenges associated with training DL models on the edge. Some of the cool research topics we’re working on: Federated Learning, Model Compression, Online Learning, NON-IID data distributions, Differential Privacy etc. As a researcher on the algorithm team, you will be given complicated problems to research and will be expected to lead the research process from the phase of literature review right up until the integration of the solution into the system. Our algorithm framework sits at the core of the Edgify product, and as part of the job you’ll be expected to participate in the development and improvement of the framework.
