Be a crucial part of a mechanical team responsible for developing some new cutting-edge technologies for a new surgical platform
•Researches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
•Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs.
•May be responsible for the transfer from R&Dto manufacturing.
•Implement Autodidact skills
•Interfaces outside vendors for outsource design, component selection, manufacturing, and assembly
•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
•At least 2 years of mechanical product development experience
•Experience at Solid Works CAD software
•Experience at office software (Word, Excel, outlook etc.).
•Other requirments: Strong written and verbal communication skills, highly organized, strong itiative,excellent problem-solving skills, team player with ability to work independently, hands on approach
•Hebrew & English high read & write capabilities
Nice to Have
•Strong knowledge of materials such as metal and plastic- significient advantage
•Medical device design experience
•Experience with electrical motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and optics
•Experience designing wiring and cabling
•Knowledge on Engineering Change management processes and PLM tools such as PTC Windchill
•Knowledge in manufacturing processes
•Good understanding of medical device standards, guidelines and regulations
