why did you decide to look for a new job?
“i felt unsatisfied and stagnant, so i began to send out my resume. i tried to locate a complex, dynamic and challenging job that would enable me to develop and advance. also a technical reason – work hours that didn’t fit my personal needs – led me to start looking around. at tiv taam my job tasks included logistics and purchasing, so the transition to daniella lehavi as manager of logistics was a natural move.”

how did you conduct your job search?
“i spent two months sending out my resume via job-search websites, with a focus on jobnet. friends recommended jobnet to me as a site with good and varied job offerings. after sending out my resume i was called in for several interviews at a number of companies.”

what kinds of jobs did you apply for?
“i looked for positions in the field of purchasing and logistics, for jobs like retail manager, supply manager, warehouse manager, etc.”

how did your first days at daniella lehavi go?
“my integration at daniella lehavi was really amazing. my first day on the job i was introduced to everyone and felt at home right away. i started out by studying in preparation to enter a new job. avi rosen, the production manager at the company, broke me in and told me in an orderly, comprehensive way about company guidelines, warehouse operations and logistics at daniella lehavi.”

what kind of a company is daniella lehavi in terms of the atmosphere and character?
“daniella lehavi is a small company with a staff of 50 people working side by side in an intimate, close-knit atmosphere. it’s a company that believes g-d is in the details, just like in the process of designing handbags and shoes. daniella always takes into account the details that are important to every woman in terms of comfort and practicality, and not just the finishing touches. a similar emphasis is placed on the way the management treats the employees, from the feeling of always having someone to talk to down to the birthday present that shows thought went into choosing it.”

what’s your impression of the company?
“it’s a real pleasure for me to come in to work in the morning. daniella lehavi is a relatively small, close-knit company where all of the employees are friends with one another. and daniella lehavi is a company that emphasizes treating customers well, much like the warm and personal treatment the workers receive. the company has a unique approach in matters such as the uncompromising quality of design, the personal treatment customers are given and the understanding that a label should provide its loyal customers loyalty in return.”

do you feel you’ve advanced professionally since your arrival?
“definitely. every day i learn and am exposed to new things. i feel challenged and that over time i’ll be able to grow and develop. on a personal level i’ve gotten to know people here who have become close friends and we get together outside of work hours.
i’m glad to have gotten hired at a company that’s very organized and invests extensive resources in employee benefits. daniella lehavi is a place with a future for me professionally.

do you have any advice for jobseekers?
“my advice is not to sit at home. get up and out of the house. there’s work out there even during hard times. it’s important to remain optimistic and patient, and to send out resumes every day. but at the same time it’s important to adhere to the correct resume-writing guidelines and to adapt the resume and details to the place of work you’re applying for.
just as you are looking for a place of work that meets your expectations, the employer is looking for a candidate that fits his needs, so it’s important to research the place where you’re trying to get hired and present yourself as someone who meets their demands.”

peller grabois, manager of marketing, how has your collaboration with jobnet streamlined the recruitment process for you?
“jobnet has definitely helped us recruit professional, high-quality and reliable personnel. during times like these when on one hand it’s hard to find employees who are right for you and on the other hand there are innumerable jobseekers, working with a company like jobnet is highly important and increases efficiency, both for the employer and the jobseeker, thanks to an interface that brings together their respective wants.”
