תיאור תפקיד:
Matrix is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop embedded software and firmware for SoC-based systems. The role involves low-level software development, working with complex hardware environments, implementing and maintaining critical software components, hardware-software integration, debugging, and solving complex system-level issues. The engineer will collaborate with Hardware, Architecture, System, and Validation teams, focusing on performance, power efficiency, reliability, and real-time requirements.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Embedded Software or Firmware development.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in C and experience with C++, depending on the development domain.
• Low-Level Development: Hands-on experience with hardware-oriented software, system components, hardware interfaces, and device drivers.
• Computer Architecture: Solid understanding of processors, memory, interrupts, DMA, bus architecture, and multicore systems.
• Operating Systems: Practical experience with RTOS and/or Embedded Linux.
• Debugging: Proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues using debugging tools, and JTAG/SWD and trace tools where applicable.
• Software Development and Testing: Experience with unit testing, integration, code reviews, and root cause analysis.
• Development Tools: Familiarity with Git, build systems, compilers, and Linux environments.
• Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
