A FPGA Engineer - developing our next-generation System
As a key member of FPGA team, play a crucial role in designing and implementing complex FPGA modules that form the core of our state-of-the-art communication system.
Define, architect, and develop complex FPGA modules for Company's next-generation wireless modem.
Plan micro-architecture and perform RTL coding.
Conduct simulation, debugging, and FPGA backend tasks (synthesis, timing closure).
Verify, validate, and integrate designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.
דרישות:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from leading universities with emphasis on signal-processing/communication.
3+ years of experience in digital design, communications, networking, and DSP block development.
Excellent teamwork and independent working abilities.
Strong communication skills.
Strong background in FPGA development and Xilinx tools.
Advantages
Knowledge of SystemVerilog.
Background in board design (digital, analog).
Familiarity with Linux.
Understanding of UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
Experience in lab work (debugging, communication measurement equipment).

אנו מתכננים ומפתחים פתרונות אספקת חשמל ופתרונות רשת לתעשיות האווירונאוטיקה והצבא. אנו מחפשים מתכנן/ת PCB מוכשר/ת להצטרפות לצוות שלנו. תחומי אחריות: • הובלת כל שלבי תכנון ה-PCB – מהגדרת הדרישות, דרך יצירת סכמות ועד להשלמת פריסת הרכיבים. • שיתוף פעולה עם מהנדסים מכניים וחשמליים בתכנון כרטיסים מודפסים בעלי צפיפות גבוהה מאוד, מהשלב הסכמטי הראשוני ועד לקונפיגורציה הסופית. • יצירה והפצה של מסמכים עבור ייצור כרטיסים אלקטרוניים (PCB). • שותפות מקצועית כמקור סמכות טכנית לפיתוח פתרונות ורעיונות חדשניים בתחום ה-PCB. • הטמעת שינויים הנדסיים (ECO) בפריסות ובתיעוד הכרטיסים. • הובלת פרויקטים מקצה לקצה. • עבודה בשיתוף פעולה עם מספר חברי צוות לקידום מספר פרויקטים במקביל.

דרישות: • מהנדס/ת אלקטרוניקה – יתרון. • ניסיון של לפחות 5 שנים בתכנון פריסות PCB – חובה. • ניסיון בתכנון ספקי כוח, אינטגריטי של הספק ואות, דרישות EMC ועוד. • ניסיון בעבודה עם כרטיסים מרובי שכבות וטכנולוגיות מעורבות כמו blind/buried vias. • ראייה תלת-ממדית טובה – הבנה של מושגים בתכנון מכני. • היכרות עם ייבוא וייצוא קבצי 2D ו-3D. • ניסיון בתכנון מערכות הספק גבוה וטכניקות ניהול חום. • ניסיון בעבודה עם תוכנת Allegro – חובה. • יחסי אנוש טובים ויכולת עבודה בצוות – שחקן/ית צוות. • שליטה טובה באנגלית.

תיאור תפקיד:
Be part of a fast-paced VLSI/FPGA team, which is developing unique video solution chipsets
· Implement the video pre/post-processing algorithms using FPGAs tools and procedures
· Define and coordinate interfaces within the system
· Define test procedures for overall FPGA Design
· Perform system on-board validation to ensure efficiency, reliability and compatibility
· Take on troubleshooting and debugging processes
דרישות:
Qualified candidates must have
· Electrical Engineering Science degree (B.Sc.)
· At least 5 years’ hands-on experience with FPGA design
· Knowledge in SystemVerilog RTL coding
· Familiar with scripts languages – Perl / Bash / Python / TCL
· High motivation, be self-driven and be able to work as a Team player and also perform independent tasks
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
Advantage to applicants with
· Familiar with FPGA tools and flows (Quartus or Vivado)
· Familiar with ASIC frontend & backend development and flows
· Familiar with verification methods as UVM
· Programming skills (C-language)
· Experience in implementation of the video processing algorithms

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop FPGA-based solutions using VHDL/Verilog
Create and maintain detailed design specifications and documentation
Develop and implement verification plans for FPGA designs
Design and maintain testbenches for FPGA projects
Conduct functional simulations and analyze results to ensure design integrity
Collaborate with design engineers to understand design intent and constraints
Debug and resolve issues found during verification
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in FPGA design and verification
