Senior C++ Developer – Radio over IP (ROIP)
Haifa, Israel
We’re looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join our team in Haifa and take full ownership of developing and maintaining advanced Radio over IP (ROIP) systems bridging the world of radio communication with modern IP networks.
What You’ll Do :
- Lead end-to-end development of ROIP features and real-time communication modules.
- Design and implement interfaces for professional radio and communication equipment.
- Develop audio streaming capabilities using VoIP protocols such as RTP, SIP, and RTCP.
- Work with various audio codecs, sound cards, and synchronization mechanisms.
- Write efficient, system-level C++ code (Multithreading, Soft Real-Time).
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams : hardware, communication, QA, and system engineering.
- Take responsibility for the entire software lifecycle: design, development, integration, and testing.
דרישות:
What You Bring :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development.
- Solid understanding of Ethernet, TCP/UDP networking, and serial communication.
- Experience with Soft Real-Time environments on Windows and/or Linux.
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces, drivers, or audio peripherals.
- Advantage: background in VoIP (RTP, SIP, RTCP), audio processing, codecs (G.711, G.729, Opus), or SDR systems.
- Experience with CMake, Git, Wireshark - a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, team spirit, and passion for learning new technologies.
