We are looking for
a Software student to join our multidisciplinary development group at our Haifa site, within the Aerospace division at Elbit Systems
Our group develops advanced software systems for the UAV domain, with a focus on Terrain Dominance solutions. You'll work across a wide range of technologies and platforms - from development close to the hardware to high-level GUI-based systems. Here, you won't just learn - you'll take on real responsibilities, work alongside experienced engineers, and contribute to technologies that make a real impact. In this role you will
Design and implement complex software systems across multiple platforms and technologies
Work on navigation and guidance systems, image manipulation, and video compression
Develop communication protocols and integrate physical interfaces
Develop and integrate advanced algorithms
Collaborate with software, system engineers, algorithmic and electro-optics teams to deliver innovative solutions
Work with high performance computers, advanced GPUs and Linux-based environments alongside VxWorks and Windows
דרישות:
Second or third-year B.Sc student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
At least one year remaining until graduation
1+ year of experience in C++ development and debugging
Proficiency in AI concepts and hands-on experience with AI-driven development workflows
Experience in Linux development - advantage
Familiarity with C#, CMAKE, GIT, and CI/CD - advantage
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing goals and requirements
