Engineering Director – Digital Health Sector Position Overview: A startup in the field of minimally invasive endovascular decision support, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to establish and lead a high-performing software and algorithm team Team Building and Management: Recruit, onboard, and mentor an intimate team of software and algorithm developers to establish a strong internal software team. Identify and manage subcontractors and external vendors for specialized software development needs.

Educational Background: Master’s degree in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development. 3 years+ of managerial experience, including team-building responsibilities or managing subcontractors. Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance software solutions, preferably in healthcare or digital health. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python & C++/C#/Go Strong experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of secure coding practices, data encryption, and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and team management abilities.
