We are looking for a backend engineer who can design, build, and operate highly reliable Node.js
services on Amazon Web Services that enable advanced artificial intelligence capabilities across our products and internal workflows.
You will create scalable application programming interfaces, data processing pipelines, and serverless architectures that integrate large language model services such as Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI
, and open-source models. This will help teams safely and efficiently use generative artificial intelligence.
Who You Are
You have experience building systems that combine information retrieval with language models to generate responses, such as knowledge-base chat assistants.
You have hands-on experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, or the pgvector extension for PostgreSQL or Amazon Aurora
You hold a certification from Amazon Web Services, such as Developer, Solutions Architect, or Machine Learning Specialty
.
You have experience with monitoring and performance tools such as Datadog
or New Relic, and with strategies to control and optimize costs for artificial intelligence workloads.
You have a background in distributed service architectures, domain-driven software design, or event-based system design patterns.

What You Bring to the Table Availability to work during some United States business hours
Fluent Hebrew and English (written and spoken) for collaboration in a remote work environment – Required
4+ years of experience building production backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB, plus experience with a container platform such as Elastic Container Service, Elastic Kubernetes Service, or Fargate
Experience integrating large language model services (such as Amazon Bedrock or OpenAI) into production systems.
Understanding of application programming interface design, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (such as AWS Cloud Development Kit, Terraform, or CloudFormation) and automated deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with secure coding practices, authentication and authorization, and data privacy practicesfor artificial intelligence systems.
