תיאור תפקיד:
A small company based in Israel, operating as part of a global group, is seeking a hands-on CPA to take full ownership of the company’s financial operations. This is a key role in a lean organization, combining end-to-end responsibility for accounting, payroll, and financial reporting, with ongoing interaction with a European parent company. Responsibilities include full ownership of all financial and accounting activities in a small, hands-on environment; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable reporting standards and group requirements; reporting to and working closely with the European parent company, including consolidation and intercompany reconciliations; managing end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing; handling all payroll processes, including preparation, controls, and coordination with external providers if relevant; preparing and submitting statutory reports, including VAT filings and other regulatory requirements; managing relationships with banks, including cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations; overseeing invoicing, accounts receivable and payable, and tracking of invoice flows; maintaining accurate books and records, including ongoing reconciliations and controls; liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities; ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and public company regulations; supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory; at least 5 years of experience with publicly traded companies or companies reporting to an international group; proven experience working in a small or mid-sized organization in a hands-on capacity; strong experience in full-cycle accounting (end-to-end); practical experience with payroll processing and statutory reporting (e.g., VAT); experience working with banks, cash management, and reconciliations; fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory; experience working in a small publicly traded company; experience in a multinational or cross-border reporting environment; familiarity with European group reporting requirements; experience with ERP/accounting systems in global environments.
