Procurement Manager (Hands-on) - Medical Device
A growing medical device startup in the field of surgical robotics is looking for a hands-on Procurement Lead to take ownership of cross-organizational procurement processes, including both purchasing and planning.
This role combines end-to-end execution with process ownership, analysis, and strategic thinking, and is ideal for a Senior Strategic Buyer ready to step into a broader leadership role (without managing a team).
What you’ll do
Own and manage end-to-end procurement across the organization (no team management)
Lead process building, optimization, and continuous improvement across procurement activities
Analyze purchasing data, supplier performance, and cost structures to identify gaps and recommend strategy
Drive sourcing decisions and supplier selection based on long-term business needs
Own both purchasing and material planning aspects (forecast alignment, supply readiness)
Work closely with R&D, engineering, and operations to support development and production
דרישות:
5-10 years of hands-on procurement experience (Senior Buyer / Procurement Lead level)
Experience in manufacturing / medical device / hardware companies
Strong background in mechanical procurement: CNC, machining, plastic injection
Experience in process improvement, analysis, and supplier strategy
Ability to work independently and take ownership of both execution and decision-making
Experience working with international suppliers
Experience with material planning / forecasts / production needs
Excellent English (spoken and written)
